LA MIRADA TRANSEÚNTE / THE ITINERANT EYE

«La mirada transeúnte» es el título de una exposición realizada a partir de un conjunto de fotografías, de diversos autores, adquiridas por el Hotel Bauzá, de Madrid, en el año 2000. Durante algún tiempo, esas fotografías decoraron las habitaciones y algunos espacios del hotel, destino para el que fueron adquiridas inicialmente.

Posteriormente, la colección que conforman estas imágenes quedó, ya de un modo privado, en manos de sus propietarios. Desde entonces, no han sido muchas las ocasiones para poder disfrutar de ella. Ahora, en el marco de PhotoEspaña 2014, unas cuantas de las fotografías que forman parte de esta «Colección Bauzá» se han podido ver de nuevo expuestas en el Hotel de las Letras, en el centro de Madrid.

«The Itinerant Eye» is the title of an exhibition made from a set of photographs, by various authors, acquired by the Hotel Bauzá, in Madrid, in 2000. For some time, these photographs decorated the rooms and some spaces of the hotel, destination for which they were initially acquired.

Subsequently, the collection that make up these images was, in a private way, in the hands of their owners. Since then, there have not been many occasions to enjoy it. Now, within the framework of PhotoEspaña 2014, a few of the photographs that are part of this «Bauzá Collection» have been shown again at the Hotel de las Letras, in the center of Madrid.
