PERSPECTIVAS / PERSPECTIVES

El miércoles 26 de enero de 2021, Carlos Cánovas fue protagonista del ciclo de Fundación Caja Navarra “Perspectivas” en Civican. Su intervención tuvo por título “Analfabetos de la imagen”.

Cánovas analizó el recorrido y el uso de la fotografía desde el momento de su invención hasta la actualidad. No faltó una prospección hacia el futuro sobre lo que pueda ser o no ser la imagen fotográfica. La charla se completó el día 4 de febrero con una clase magistral impartida por el propio fotógrafo titulada “procesos creativos”.

Ambas actividades se enmarcan, como se ha señalado, dentro del ciclo “Perspectivas”, un espacio de pensamiento y debate en el que distintos protagonistas del ámbito científico, social y cultural comparten con el público diferentes desafíos a los que se enfrenta la sociedad del futuro.

On Wednesday, January 26, 2021, Carlos Cánovas was the protagonist of the Caja Navarra Foundation cycle «Perspectives”, at the Civican Center. His intervention was entitled «Illiterates of the Image».

Cánovas analyzed the journey and use of photography from the moment of its invention to the present day. There was no lack of prospecting into the future on what the photographic image may or may not be. The talk was completed on February 4 with a master class given by the photographer himself entitled “Creative Processes”.

Both activities are framed, as has been pointed out, within the «Perspectives» cycle, a space for thought and debate in which different protagonists from the scientific, social and cultural fields share with the public different challenges that the society of the future faces.
