SÉPTIMO CIELO / SEVENTH HEAVEN

Las imágenes de la serie «Séptimo cielo» están tomadas alrededor de la casa del fotógrafo, pero el método y no el emplazamiento hace de estas fotografías el lugar donde podemos ser.

A pesar de la cercanía de los lugares fotografiados,  apenas hay algo de cotidiano en el resultado, ni siquiera la niebla resulta misteriosa ni la nieve suficientemente blanca. Se trata, en definitiva, de una forma de conocer el mundo estando en él, no sé si con el sentido trágico del «dassein» heideggeriano, pero sí alejado por completo de cualquier trivialidad. The images of the series «Seventh Heaven» are taken around the photographer’s house, but the method and not the location makes these photographs the place where we can be.

Despite the proximity of the most photographed places, there is just something of the everyday world in the result, even fog is not mysterious nor snow is white enough. It is, in short, a way of knowing the world by being in it, I wonder if with the tragic sense of the «dasein» of Heidegger but completely out of any triviality (Miguel Leache, from the catalog exhibition).
