PROYECTOS PERSONALES / PERSONAL PROJECTS

Este año, por primera vez, los trabajos del curso en el Taller de Fotografía de Zizur Mayor no responden a un tema común. Pensamos a comienzos de curso que sería una experiencia interesante que cada participante eligiese su propio proyecto a desarrollar. Y creo sinceramente que no nos equivocamos.

La exposición de los trabajos hace mucho más compleja esta muestra que en ocasiones anteriores. Esa complejidad tiene que ver con la diversidad y ambición de los proyectos, y representa un nivel de autoexigencia mayor. Somos conscientes de que también estamos siendo más exigentes con el espectador, que debe esforzarse para identificar y seguir cada proyecto. Todo ello es un intento de involucrarle más con la propia fotografía, con su naturaleza, sus leyes y sus posibilidades e imposibilidades, en definitiva, una forma de hacerle más partícipe en una causa que queremos compartir con él.

This year, for the first time, the works of the Photographic Workshop of Zizur Mayor do not have a common theme. We thought at the beginning of the course that it would be an interesting experience for participants to choose their own project to develop. And I sincerely believe that we were not wrong.

The exhibition of the works makes this sample much more complex than on previous occasions. This complexity has to do with the diversity and ambition of the projects, and represents a higher level of self-demand. We are aware that we are also being more demanding with the viewer, who must strive to identify and follow each project. All this is an attempt to involve him more with photography itself, with its nature, its laws and its possibilities and impossibilities, in short, a way to make him more involved in a cause that we want to share with him.
